Bougainvillea Plant

Bougainvillea Plant is also known by the name of Paper flower.  It is a woody shrub of average height 10 -15
feet. Its flowers are classic red, purple, orange, white, pink and cream, which bloom all year and decorate our yard. It requires little water and shady environment to grow well.

The best methods to propagate Bougainvillea plant is semi ripe cuttings, hardwood cuttings or layers. One thing must be cared while using cutting. Cuttings must be planted in the shady areas until they produce the roots. At this time, it requires water and fertilizers for good growth. Once, it is established, it requires a little of water only. It should be watered properly in the summers and kept dry in the winters.
